Insurance

At Professional Vision we understand that the cost of routine exams, contacts and glasses is a major concern. Vision and medical insurance can help lower these costs, making quality eye care services affordable for families.

To make the process as simple as possible, we will work with both you and your insurer to submit vision care claims. If you’re unsure of what your plan covers, we’re happy to answer any questions you may have about your coverage.

If you do not have vision insurance, your medical insurance plan may cover the cost of routine examinations.

We accept a wide range of medical and vision insurance plans at our Ellicott City office, including:

Accepted Medical Plans

  • Aetna
  • Blue Cross
  • UHC
  • Cigna
  • Medicare

Accepted Vision Plans

  • VSP – Apply to VSP here
  • Davis Vision
  • Eyemed

Other Payment Options

We do accept other plans as well, so if you do not see your plan listed here, please give us a call and we would be happy to assist you. Our staff is also always available to answer any questions regarding your benefits.

The optometry staff at Professional Vision strives to provide patients with a variety of payment options. Eye health and vision is of the utmost importance, and we do not want the cost of quality care to prevent patients from seeking the care they need.

In addition to insurance, we also accept the following forms of payment: Cash, Checks, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and financing through Care Credit

As a friendly reminder: Please remember to bring your insurance information with you before visiting our Ellicott City office for your appointment.

Please note: Routine eye exams may not be covered under your medical insurance plan.
